Some programs cant find internet connection?

Im having problems with certain programs that cannot find my internet connection the programs are The all seeing eye, big fix, yahoo messenger and some others i cant remember now. Ive never had problems with these programs before and ive tried disabling my firewall (norton 2003) but they just wont work im using win xp pro and ive used ad-aware pro 6 but still nothing. Can you please give me some suggestions as to what the problem might be.

    Thanks Arkan

What has changed on your computer?

Are you using a NAT router or internet connection sharing?

Did it stop working at the point you removed some stuff with adaware 6?

Does ping yahoo.com work in a command prompt box?

oh yea there is the built in firewall also all you have to do is to disable it by going to start>control panel>network and internet connection> then right click on your internet connection>Properties>firewall> then uncheck it

Unless you answer our questions and tell us about your setup we can only guess what your problem is.

If you think the problem was caused by AA6 you can find instuctions on how to fix it in Adaware's support forum.
