I work as a researcher in p2p-systems since 1997 and as such I would like comment on things here on Zeropaid.
But I can not comment on news because Zeropaid always forgetts that I am logged in when I go to the news section. Any ideas what I can do to solve the problem? Many other users obviously can post comments on news.
Also when I go to "submit news" Zeropaid forgetts I am logged in. If I submit news as "anonymous coward" I mostly get an error message.
I use Win ME and get the same problem both with Internet Explorer 5.50 and Netscape 4.7. I have set security to "normal" in both web browsers when I surf Zeropaid and I of course have cookies enabled in both browsers. I have tried to use Zeropaid both with the cookie option on and with the option to instead have my identitiy handled in the addres bar. (Thats an option you can set in your Zeropaid user profile.) When I use the "address bar identity" option I can clearly see that when I go to the news section the data that identifies me as looged in dissappears from the address bar.
Help!!!!

Yea enable cookies, lower your security or disable any cookie cruncher/ad program like ad-aware.:gj
After some major testing and tweaking I have solved the problem. It's a bug in the Zeropaid cookiehandling, not in my web browser settings.
After testing with several web browsers and running them on lower security settings than ever before I ruled out my web browser settings.
So I again took a look at my user settings in Zeropaid. After some testing I found it. You have to have the "automatically login" setting set to YES. You find it under Edit Options - Login, Cookies & Privacy - Automatically login YES
No other setting seems to matter.
Oddly enough that function doesn't log me in automatically to Zeropaid. I still have to log every time I first enter Zeropaid. But now I can click around Zeropaid as much as I want and never be logged out until I say so. And I can post news and news comments! #:))
So look out Zeropaid, the biggest know-all of them all will start commenting!!!
Oh and by the way, thanks everyone who tried to help.

BigMole again:
Well, since I have worked as a software engineer for more than ten years and have been researching p2p since 1997 I think it will be good news that I can comment on things. :)
