New to edonkey. I've downloaded the movie but I can't play it. I'm told I have to rename it, but when I go to rename it with a .avi extension it won't let me. How do I correct this.
what exactly does the message say?
If it says cannot rename because this file is in use or something of that sort, exit edonkey or anything that might be using the file, and then try.
My current setup stats (like anyone cares...):

AMD 4400+ Dual-Core CPU
Windows Vista (Ultimate 32bit)
2 GB (2x1GB) Corsair XMS RAM

EVGA GeForce 7950 GTX 512 MB
Creative X-FI Fatal1ty XtremeGamer
Also sporting a black MacBook
Revision/Release 1
Upgraded to 2GB RAM.
Ya know, with all this eMule, and eDonkey stuff, it would be cool to see a client named eAss. That would..........kick........ass of course!
You can't triple stamp a double stamp.
What file extension does the file have? and why would you have to rename it in order to play it? :mellow

The file extension says part file and part met . It is in the temp folder although it is 100% complete . Do I have to join these files . Also is there a way to view a partial file
Right click on the file while holding the left CTRL key, choose Open With, then find windows media player, or whatever media player youre using, and you should be able to view it from there.
