proof that microsoft doesn't make there own programs.

ok this just blows my mind. today i was in my microsoft office class at my high school, and a buddy of mine, said that microsoft doesn't make there own programs. he had proof of this as when he told me to go to excel and follow these steps. i was using office 97, this may work on all versions of office not sure though.

first, open a new spreadsheet, use the arrow keys to go all the way down to the number that says 95, select all of the tabs in the 95 spreadsheet by highlighting one, and dragging it all the way to the right untill it reaches the end, next hit the tab key, and go to tab b in 95, next go to help > about and move your mouse to the tech support button, then hit ctrl alt shift while clicking on the tech support button. you'll get an about box of who made the original program, when you first get into that box, it'll sort of look like doom a doom game i guess they were doom fans.

then move to the front, and you'll see the credits of the original creators of excel. if you type excel kfa and turn around, you'll se a picture of the original guys who created it.

what i find weird about this whole thing is that microsoft called the about box, "hall of tortured souls." i may sound like im making a joke but i have done it, and it is true.

i've heard people say here on zeropaid that microsoft doesn't make there own programs, and i find some of it to be true.

No I will not fix your computer.

you know you should really give linux a try. you know the funny thing about the l2cache on the old pentium 2 really didnt give me the power to do the multimedia stuff that a guy like me wants to do.

That's called an "Easter Egg" there are dozens of them. The developers put them in, it has nothing to do with the fact that they don't write their own programs.

For more information on stealing your software from prior developers study "Object-Oriented Programming Systems" it's the ordinary practice.

awesome site nas, i found a lot of other programs on that site too. i also found out that you can do pinball in word 97. pretty cool stuff. i guess i shouldn't have jumped to conclusions though. were those people in the tip i showed above the original developers apart of microsoft or what?
