i was a long time user of DC. This ended when about a year ago, i suddenly was unable to connect to any hubs. Of course i was pissed, but i figured it was the network admins here at the university that were doing it, restricting access to any hub somehow. I made my peace with it, but i have just recently found and began using Fileshare, which is a DC clone. the hubs are all similar, and many even use port 411 for connecting. I can connect to ALL the hubs in fileshare, but none of the hubs in DC. What the crap is going on ? Can someone explain to me what's causing this?

no clue man, some of those traffic shapers being used are pretty smart and wouldn't surprise me if they're picking up on the dc protocol itself rather than just ports
I can't connect to any hubs either, the newest release might be screwing up, or maybe my new ISP is screwing me (that just came to me).
