    Automatic Updates

I have it set to download the updates automatically then let me choose when I'm going to install them. For the last week or so it seems like I'm downloading the same ones over and over. I click "Details" and it says stuff like "Security Update" and the dates listed for the two things (always two things) is February 13, 2003.

Why does it keep doing this?

You would be much better off by turning this "feature" off, it uses system resources and bandwidth, honestly, just check manually once or twice a week if you really need updates

Now, go to www.windowsupdate.com and do a scan, and install the updates

If that still doesn't work, clear all your temps out, then try downloading again

Please take a few minutes to sign up for our UD cancer research program, it uses idle cpu cycles to help fight cancer by helping to find new drugs. This thread has more info, or you can PM me with questions/comments. I hope to finish the guide on how to start using UD soon
