    Arrow time out, argh!

I noticed that when I try to download a file, it always times out or errors out in some other way. Small files, I'm usually ok. At first I though I was getting cut off, but I noticed that it does it right away. It will say "waiting for incoming connection" for a very long time, then time out. Same with Open Nap servers.

What's with this? Anyone else getting this? How can I fix it? i have a firewall but it's letting all the ports trough (winmx ports that is)

    Question time outs

I have this problem too. A lot of Opennap users are still on v2.6 and the only way I can connect to then is if they don't have anyone else in que. If i get "busy" and try to "enter remote que" it times out. Perhaps v2.6 isn't quite compatible with v3.22?????

My guess is that the server you connected to is a piece of shit. Those servers which are overloaded and slow tend to do that. With "opennap" servers, bigger is not necessarily better. Another possibility is that the person you are trying to download from has a poor firewall configuration, but doesn't care so long as it doesn't adversely affect his downloads.
