    Emule

    *Hides for Kazaa lovers*

    Why?

Because Emule has tons of games which Kazaa has not (plus waaaaaay more sources per file) =)
You can download Emule at http://sourceforge.net/project/showf...group_id=53489
Then if you deceide to take Emule, you need a server.met file, and I got a good one with 600 servers. Don't worry you can set the servers in order of amount of files =D

I use K++ for games. If you get it from www.k-lite.tk and click on web there are links to sig2dat websites which have tons of verified games. If you are going to use emule though, go to www.sharereactor.com to get ed2k verified games. Good luck and welcome to Zeropaid.

If you are at that site just click on the Emule installer. Select version v0.26a because that one is the most stable, v0.26d tends to crash on most systems. Then select a mirror site close to where you live, for example if you live in Belgium select Belnet etc. It doesn't matter that much which mirror you select though, just click on the picture that says "26xxkb" on the right of the mirror site advertisement.
I also attached a server.met file, which you have to unzip and then put in your C:\Program Files\Emule folder.

If you put the server.met file in your Emule directory it will automaticly load up that file after you launched Emule, and it will show you the list of servers right after. Then if you click on "users" above the list it will set the servers in order of the amount of users. And if you click files .. well ..it will set it in order of files. Then if you double click on a server it will connect.

I also made a screenshot and pointed out where you should click on the screenshot, check it out =D

Put the server.met file in your emule folder, and press connect, it may take about 2 minutes to connect sometimes, but sometimes right away!

Edit: Damn you beat me Andy!, lol

You have to download a special Movie player like BSplayer, then goto Emule preferences there you can select a movie player to preview. Click on browse, and then select the .exe file from the movie player. Then apply, right click on the file and select preview, and bam.. there's your preview =)

Right, so far guys you've been brilliant so thanks for that!!!

Just two more questions then i'll leave you alone : -

    1) I'm with a 512kbps broadband provider but whilst downloading on e-mule, speeds of only 11.5kbps. Will it get quicker???

    2) When downloading games off shareacter, what do these three files mean and what are there importance for games- 1. .bin 2. .cue 3. nfo?

    Thanks.

No speeds between 10 and 30kb/s are pretty normal. Though when a file is very popular it might get up to 100kb/s. But what matters is that you finally get the file.
    About the files:
.cue: contains information about the .bin file (for CD burning prog)
.bin: usually the .bin file is the only file you need. It is a common format for the most CD burning programs. I use "CD mate" which is small (only 6mb) and easy to use, and in my opinion better then Clone CD.
.nfo: this file has some extra info about the game, like when you don't get it to work check that file.

When you can't open the .nfo file rename .nfo to .txt and there it is.
