    Argggh!

I have been away for too long and missed out on all of the fun of ths thread!

I have been inbetween 100 and 200 for months now since threads keep on getting deleted (I guess this is what happens when you bait other members and they deltet their threads). i remember one day I lost abut 40 posts... I should have been well over 200 by now... perhaps this will be the night... I am going on a:

    POST MAELSTROM!!!

There is no stopping me until I hit 200!!!

BTW, Happy 1000 Hunter and to all others that hit their milestones while I was reading today (Absalom, Absalom! by William Faulkner... good book).

    Here goes nothing...
"There's a passage I got memorized. Ezekiel 25:17... I been sayin' that shit for years. And if you ever heard it, it meant your ass. I never really questioned what it meant. I thought it was just a cold-blooded thing to say to a motherfucker before you popped a cap in his ass. But I saw some shit this mornin' made me think twice… The truth is you're the weak. And I'm the tyranny of evil men. But I'm tryin', Ringo. I'm tryin' real hard to be a shepherd."

    Just Wondering...

Does this avatar/signature combination make me seem like a militant whacko or does it question the status quo and make people want to rise up?

Either way I think that I will change it soon, but i want an opinion at least...

    Waited too long...

It is after 1am here in Seattle and I have to get up early to go to classes, so I am not sure if this will happen tonight... it all depends on the 130 second rule...

I may find an old thread and give it new life!

    Thanks...

Good luck to you as well... I am having trouble sleeping tonight yet have to wake up in less than 4 hours. It is no good.

Where are you attending currently CH? Are you enjoying your classes?

Education is terrific... I wish that I had attended college right after HS instead of "waiting" (well, doing other things--y'know). Then again, I feel as if I gain far more than the silly children that have no life experiences to lay the groundwork for their classes upon, so perhaps it was all for the best...

I'm going to the local junior college (Solano Community College) right now trying to get a couple of AA degrees before I go on to a state college. Gotta brush up alot first. I've been out of school for almost 30 years !!

And I can relate to having trouble sleeping.

    AA's are great...

Community colleges and AA degrees are an excellent way to get into good schools and save a considerable amount of cash in the process. I got an AA degree last March or so and was able to get two years of school for the price of less than two quarters of the school that I am now attending. Plus, my classes transfered quite well, my class sizes were considerably smaller and my transfer GPA was outstanding.

I have heard that some High schools are trying to push this for people planning to go on to 4 year universities, but many still go to a very expensive school and run up huge student loan debts. My sister-in-law is going to USC and is paying over $30,000 for her freshman year. My first two years of college cost less than $3000, which is a better deal since most of these classes are just prerequisites?

That's the route I'm trying to go. It makes good sense.

I'm going to try to sleep now we can pick this up tomorrow OK?
And if you reply to this congrats on 200 !!!

I swear to God that I should have been at this point about December... I have looked through many of my old threads and they just no longer exist? I wonder where they went?

Good night to all and I hope that you too will be able to soon reach new milestones of postiness.
