Is there anyway to tell if a video file is encoded in Xvid? because I want to test it out but I don't know how to tell whether or not it is an Xvid encoded video or not.

You might wan't to give the program "GSpot" a try.
You can't triple stamp a double stamp.
If you have XP & havn't deleted the RegKey for .avi's...
all you have to do is right click the file & properties..it will tell you there....I know there is a preview program that will tell you also...but I can't find the link...........

Thats what you need, it will tell you much more about the file than you ever wanted to know, yet its easy to read and use
Ever typed in gspot on google? LOL
