    Last concert you've been to

I am about to buy tickets to a show (Glassjaw, of course!) this weekend. So I was inspired to come up with this thread. Tell me about your last concert. Who was it? When did you go? Was it good?

Morcheeba. It was January 25 and sadly the whole show was awful. I really dislike their new material and most of the songs that they've done after an album "Big Calm". Plus, there were a lot of people and they were screaming and pushing each other. So, overall this show sucked, but it's not a fault of musicians, i guess.:mellow

    Last concert

I went and saw the first concert for the newest incarnation of Sunny Day Real Estate, now called the Fire Theft, about two weeks ago and I was supposed to see the Alkaline Trio last friday, but it was cancelled due to a throat injury. Before that I saw the Ataris about a month earlier.

I have been trying to deliberate whether I should go and see Glassjaw, Sparta, Hot Water Music and Dredg (all of whom I like) or Further Seems Forever, Elliott, and Open Hand (also all of whom I like--both happen to be on the same night). My wife would go to the second concert with me, but I could always go alone to the first and that may be more fun. Color me undecided.

By the way TipYourBartender, I too love the Thursday--I watched them instead of Bad Religion since they (Thursday) were playing opposite them on a smaller stage during the Warped Tour ... they kick ass but tour far too little--perhaps after they finish their new album.
"There's a passage I got memorized. Ezekiel 25:17... I been sayin' that shit for years. And if you ever heard it, it meant your ass. I never really questioned what it meant. I thought it was just a cold-blooded thing to say to a motherfucker before you popped a cap in his ass. But I saw some shit this mornin' made me think twice… The truth is you're the weak. And I'm the tyranny of evil men. But I'm tryin', Ringo. I'm tryin' real hard to be a shepherd."
