    Error Message

I've been getting the blue screen o' death lately on random occasions, and it says something like

    Memory Check/Memory parity error.

    Anybody know what's causing this?

I used to get that on my old PC

Etnies gave you a good link, and I agree, I think you have a faulty RAM chip, it happens a lot on the older memory chips

Replace the RAM chip with a compatable kind, or upgrade your PC, parity style memory is very old, and will be hard to find, not to mention expensive

Downlaod Memtest, put it on a floppy and place the floppy in the drive, simply reboot, that's all there is to it.
