You never heard of sticks and stones, lol?

Since its inception almost 30 years ago, the internet has been transformed from a primitive device for sharing thoughts and ideas, into a massive network where people pay to connect and read advertisements they don't want, while calling each other "asshats".

sticks and stones?
Is it really about sticks and stones?. It is more of a question of one PRIVATE organization trying to mazimize profits and pushing people down for finding a LEGIT (currently) way of SHARING files. RIAA has made BILLIONS. Let's rethink our standpoints......:cross :sw :bk

What I meant was a even a million insulting e-mails is not change their minds of RIAA executives. As long as money talks, RIAA bulls**t will continue to walk.
What will make a difference is when they realize going down the old ways will hit them where (the pocket book) it hurts.
But if hurling a few insults at the RIAA makes you feel better, go for it...
The RIAA has no friends here, lol.

Heh...
There are hundreds of better, more exciting was to get into trouble online than sending petty hate mail to corporate employees.
EDIT: Haha... the people who have to deal with the lame, hate mail coming to that address undoubtedly has no power to make a difference within the RIAA. Most likely a real person, with children, just trying to make a living. One would have to be a real low-life to want to ruin their day, just because one's priviledge of getting freebies on the internet is in jepoardy.

Yeah, screw the RIAA. Music should be for everyone, not juz the people that can afford to buy cds. With the amount of music i like, and the shares variety, i would have to have 1000s of dollars to buy all the cds i want. And people say, "what about the artists ur ripping off?"....well, sorry to break it to ya...it is the record companies that get the money, not the artists. And as far as P2P is concerned.....P2P programs will live on thru this hard time....the customers WILL suceed in what they want.
