Have you given it a little time? It seems like it takes a little longer for me to connect now. Sometimes several minutes. I'm guessing it's because there are close to 5 million users on . A month or so back it was only a little over 3M (on average)... Hmmmm...

When say firewall you mean xp's built-in firewall or do have additional firewall software, or are on behind network firewall (like on college computer network for example)?
    Insert sig image here

Since its inception almost 30 years ago, the internet has been transformed from a primitive device for sharing thoughts and ideas, into a massive network where people pay to connect and read advertisements they don't want, while calling each other "asshats".

I am having the same problem with connecting to kazaa. I am at college behind a network firewall. My school has not banned access, so there should be some way to connect. I know there's nothing wrong with my computer because when i connect at home through normal dsl it works fine. (I have a laptop)

I know dragoonballz in real life. He is behind a hardware firewall, and connects to the net cable. I was at his house when the connection to kazaalite started becomming an issue. We were both on kazaa [different computers] I was connected, and he couldn't connect. I think he re-instaled kazaalite, and he could connect. Later on, he couldn't connect, so then I told him to make this thred since after re-instaling K++ again didn't help.

What version of Kazaa are you running?
Did you do a clean uninstall before installing it again?
FYI, there is a new version of K++ which works wonders here is the linkdoa2,host.sk/
