won't connect!
it keeps trying to connect but it keeps going to: "Refused"

Open port 6346 in your firewall and/or router.

depends which one you have, router or firewall. Also it would help to know what kind and what OS.

If the host cache public.bearshare.net is what your getting refused for then copy this host cache in the manual connect bar at the bottom and click connect

Norton Internet security also doens't work well with gnutella, always blocked connections, does it connect if you disable it, also it may be the windows xp firewall.
