I'm able to download songs but frequently a song will que at #1, then when it appears that it is going to download, it disconnects. Could there be anything wrong on my end? I'd really appreciate any input. Thanks.

When you get "disconnected" it means the user you are downloading from has cancelled you'r download.

Since its inception almost 30 years ago, the internet has been transformed from a primitive device for sharing thoughts and ideas, into a massive network where people pay to connect and read advertisements they don't want, while calling each other "asshats".
Sometimes I'll have someone trying to download from me or vice versa even after a invite and still get disconnected ...and maybe later on we'll both connect just fine. This happens with no other users on both ends in fact ...so it's not jamming up ...
It's healthy to Keep a Open Mind , But too far open or your brain could fall out.

You can't triple stamp a double stamp.
Sure thing ...keep a average of 1200 amounting to around 14 megs ( Radio shows and Audio books mostly )...and I know the other user who wants to download from me is sharing files and it's not my fault they get disconnected ..at least I'm disconnect them manually. But like I said before neither of us will have any other users uploading from us or are we downloading from anyone ...so we're not one too many pig on a sow ......later like a few hours or the next day we'll both connect just fine ...this'll happen on both WinMx and OpenNap servers.
