It could be software or it could be an external filter (through the school's ISP). You don't specify too much there.Originally posted by snowborder74

Besides, CPU's right. You're likely to get yourself in trouble when they see you screwin' off when you're supposed to be receiving your teacher's sweet sweet load of education, allowing it to splatter all over your face and groin-crotchable (WARNING: JERKY BOYS REFERENCE)area.
well maybe you should ask the school's technology coordinator how to bypass it.Originally posted by snowborder74

i can tell you its probably the external unit that the net goes through befor its routed a zillion times....
maybe using a sock ( a clean one ) or one of of those site like anomizer.com or sumthing
the easiest thing i have found, is to make a floppy disk or cd, and burn some little games on it, like snowcraft or such. if the games aren't very big, you should get a free website like tripod, and just upload game exe's and such to it. type in the address, directory, and filename and it should download.
if a school blocks a site, its probly bc they REALLY dont want you goin there. our school blocks stickdeath.com. why? bc ppl would go there, open 10 pages, and wait for the movies to download. well, enough ppl doing it at once, slowed down the net for everybody, and they tossed in a site blocker.
so watch where you go with this very carefully.

almost definatly filtered at isp level (in my school it is theres a poster explaining it :D ) so you can get round it unless you login as an administrater and use your own dial program and even then you would have to use the computer linked directly to the modem or whatever it is.
my guess is anonymizer is blocked but if it isnt i will try it. i would also like to thank you guys who actually helped a lil instead of being an ass about it. also on a side note we need to go to google and tell them to rate zeropaids pages higher...it only gets a 4/10
