    Does anyone use SongSpy? Would anyone be interested in a spyware free version?

    I wasn't aware they had spyware. It's been awhile since I used it though. I think you should make hacked versions of anything (p2p) that has spyware so that we have a choice.

    Please Don't Download The Clean Version

    I talked to the developer of SongSpy, and he says that he is having enough trouble paying for SongSpy as it is, and that if enough people use the clean version then he's going to have to get rid of SongSpy or do something else. Just thought I'd let you al lknow.

    Another Good Job Dr. Damn - I now know why I didn't care for this program. Takes forever to get connected & not many users or files. Centralized & whats with this karma points?

    As soon as Vinnie cleans up his act, I'll gladly make a clean BearShare. In the meantime, you can use AquaLime or Gnucleus.

    I don't particularly care if they can pay for SongSpy or not, as spyware is morally and ethically wrong.

    All I want to know is how to properly uninstall SongSpy and its spy crap. The uninstall crashes everytime.

    Delete the files on your hard drive, and then Ad-Aware. Look for the registry entries in HKCU\Software\SongSpy. I think that's where it is.
