To All Those That Own An Ipod

ok i am gonna buy an ipod for PC pretty soon. i read somewhere tho that update 1.2 has had some problems. when i buy it, should i upgrade or should i stay at 1.1. are there any really significant drifferences.

Well, I baught an iPod a little while ago (AWSOME!!!), and read an article on that. Some people have had problems with the battery running down on 1.2. I have been fine. Also, you can restore back to 1.1 as long as you dont miss the little 'extras'. I believe some people have solved it by turning off the alarm function, which would be the main cause of battery use while off. Anyway, it's well worth it. I dont know where you're planning to buy it, but take a look at eBay. I got mine there for $80 off retail. Good luck!:wings

aihgt i have another question. i have been debating between the 5 and 10 gig models. is the leather case and remote headphones really worth it......i mean my music collection is only about 1.5 gigs.....about 300 songs. so i dont think i need the 10 gig. but im thinkin i mihgt have it awhile. how long do u think an ipod will last until it goes bad

also if the battery goes bad can u get a replacement and replace it urself or do u have to send it back to apple for like an outrageous 250 dollars to repair it!!! i mean that is ridiculous.

btw does best buy purchase used electronics. i wanna sell my nomad jukebox so i have money for an ipod
