RIAA, NMPA Reach Settlement With Audiogalaxy.com
In this RIAA press release states that the RIAA's lawsuit against Audiogalaxy has been settled out of court.
Parts of the settlement include:
-"filter-in" system, which requires that for any music available, the songwriter, music publisher, and/or recording company must first consent to the use and sharing of the work.
-pay the music publishers and recording industry a substantial sum based on Audiogalaxy's assets and interest in resolving this case quickly.
Before everyone starts recruting for the programs they use remember to just use what works best for you and if a person only has one or two file sharing programs then maybe thats why people are frantically searching for new programs to use when things like this happen..

HAHA, finally, those Audiogalaxy users will switch over to the winning side, the open source Alamo, as I like to call it.
Better yet, come to WinMX so you guys can dramatically increase the number of files I can get, hehe. Besides, WinMX is way faster than Audiogalaxy and already has a VERY large user base.

Yes, Limewire is my backup as well. As soon as 2.5 is rolled out, it will equal or possibly exceed WinMX and Fastrack.
