Oceana comes from Florida. (st. petersburg I think?) I saw a live set of these guys, and then I saw 4 more. They are now a full on indie band. Memories!

this song actually is pretty decent.^one of my all time favorite albums.

Plus the lyrics are like woah

Maybe I was think of this vid instead with all the jumping around.

The music is great EM but anymore all the vids look no different then in the 80's.

That is with the exception of Tool. Their vids are one of a kind and out right fucking weird.

Oh god. I totally know that song. Reminds me of Nine inch nails with a blast of 80's influence. thanks for sharing. apparently half a decade just made the hair a bit longer.

I feel obliged to post a video since I'm making a post though, and technically not screamo (no vocals actually) but they toured with some screamo bands and what not. Plus their drummer is rumored to be a math teacher - woah. Plus look at his kit. 4 pieces? what a weirdo

Thunderstruck is probably the best guitar riff in a song, EVER. No one really even started playing riffs like that for another 15 years

HEY can someone change the name of the thread to the "metal thread" or something more relevant.
