These have been around for a few years now. They forgot to mention how popular they've become with the criminal element.
I got a few coins mining for a pool, but gave up since I jumped on board too late, and it took too much power mining to be worth a damn...
Still haven't found a good use for them yet, although I rarely purchase anything but computer parts online.
