With the advance of computers, from the humble Commador 64 OS (for me that is) to the current Windows OS there has also been software upgrades with advancing systems.
However there is a problem when one starts to build on and improve anykind of creation. The more advanced or improved something becomes, the more there is that can go wrong with it.
In Star Trek, The Search for Spock, Scotty has a rather good line that may apply to the new ZP OS.
"The more complicated they make the plumbing, the easier it is to stop up the drain."
Zeropaid is powered by vBulletin, which has decided it needed a software upgrade. The current upgrade is Version 4.1.7.
With this upgrade especially to the forums here, all kinds of problems have appeared. Problems such as logging in, posting and veiwing the forum have happened.
Jorge has been on the move trying to correct the difficulties that have manifested themselves.
I, and others had no problems with the earlier system and how it functioned.
For whatever reason vBulletion felt that it needed changed.
I am a staunch believer of "if it ain't broke, don't fix it."
For me, this is the worse software program that has come down the pike since Windows Vista.
Just my opinion.
true dat.
Besides Windows I can think of other software that was great in it's day only to go to shit and/or become bloatware.
A couple that immediately come to mind:
Nero.
Azureus.
and many more...
