Just wondered if there is a 3G movemment with the P2P community. Seems like the next logical step. Taking P2P to a new level with wireless Peer connections would be dandy!
Hard as ever and here to make you people believe...as long as there is one person to hold hope and dream...A GOD...will never die!
i think the fact that most 3G devices are portable and thus small storage, has restricted development on the p2p front. bittorrent (the company) has an app for iOS and android where you can use the web UI or web remote, but thats about it. i've tried samba and it's a POS, absolutely useless unless you're using it in a home network and even then you have little control over shares.
but then i haven't really looked around and surely someone has something somewhere...
3G is out of the question right now because rates are ridiculous.
Local sharing via Wi-Fi is available in FrostWire for Android phones
and there are at least one P2P app for jailbreak Apples by now.
As far as I know nobody has written any for Windows Mobile yet.
