    Unhappy WinMX+Wine+ERROR!

    I installed Codeweaves Wine Preview 7 in Mandrake 9.0. I then put in WinMX 3.31. Fired it up and it worked fine. The problem was the names wouldnt show up any where search or transfer. So i grabed a copy of win98 and grabbed the dlls wine sites said and plunked them in the System folder of my fake windows. I overrode the blank dlls with the real ones. Now when i fire it up it says it cant see a tcp/ip port and is in passive firewall mode and exits. What gives.
    The Linux Revolution will never win the desktop war. It is there as an alternitive. It may never rise to a great level but it will never be shutdown.

    Cool

    just do a dual boot have 2 operating systems and you wont have to worry about Wine and having problems ;)
