Like web browsing, word processing stuff like that. I'm thinking of buying The Sims 3 so do I need it for that, if so can you recommend one.
There are more angles to this than you might think, most computers coke with a graphics card these days so are you sure you don't have one? You will need one for most games like sims 3 but for browsing and word processing the on board gpu usually will suffice. Most machines have basic graphics properties without a card.
As for what's best that's not too much my arena, everyone has a preference and opinion on what one is best, I prefer Nvidia and some prefer ATI. Google peoples suggestions here and do some research
