Damn I feel old. I remember playing around with Windows 3.0 and playing some obscure games like "Stunts" and "Scorched Earth" along with "Dune 2" and a handful of others.
Have to admit, I couldn't quite beat Dune 2 with the crappiest characters (the green ones, can't remember the name) but I did beat the game with the other two available characters.

I started with Windows 98 first edition, in 1999. It was excellent to be able to use that
and have such power. My mom started after I did, on an old PC with Win 95. When people
threw computers away and I brought them home at the time, they had Windows 3.1 on
them usually, so I got to try it but never use it.
The first OS I saw on the screen was at a mall that I went to with my mom, a health fair.
Banquet tables were set up with PCs on them with Windows 95 on demo, and you could
just sit down and try it.
I didn't, but I watched people use it. It must have been when '95 was just out, and I don't
know who had the demo, Microsoft, a computer store, an ISP or what. Just something I
remember from ancient times, woof!
