Piracy - Which Is Safer To Use Verizon Fios or Optimum Online?

hi.

i am thinking of maybe switching over from Cablevision's Optimum Online to Verizon Fios. The main reason is cause I like how much better the quality is for HDTV. anyway, i plan to use their internet service too. I do a lot of downloading from torrents and forums. I even have a blog that hosts downloads. I did some googling and i saw that Verizon has a history with piracy. Is it worth using their ISP service if you're a pirate or should I just stick with Optimum? I've never had any problem with Optimum regarding this and I've been using them for years. Any helpful opinions or advice on this topic would be great. thanks in advance.

Wow! Welcome back after 9 years. I'm sorry, but I don't know anything about those ISP's. I'm sure someone around here can help you though.

Tell me, how did you even remember your password after all these years?

yeah i know. i should visit this forum more often. but i do still read the mailing list everyday.

regarding the password, i actually had to have it reset cause i couldn't in fact remember it! lol.

I know some people on verizon FIOS and they have no trouble. Of course, they are all on smaller private torrent sites or using newsgroups. Take it for what its worth.
