    Printer problem after tweaking xp.

Hey there guys, hope I can find the answer to this problem, because I have been searching for it from different forums on some other sites.
I did some tweaks but I can't recall what I did to have my printer stop from working. I know, i know forgot to back this info. up
If I can't find something to solve this I think I am going to let my xp to go back the way it was.
    Hope not to do it,
if somebody knows the answer to this, I would really appreciate

Did you disable the printer in msconfig?

I was looking at it and to be sincere I don't know under what name would be the printer I do see the ones I have checked to stop but wouldn't know which is for printer, you know what let me turn on the server option and see what happens.

Hey I ran msconfig to enable all of my services but it did not work. After I re-enable them I re-start my computer and went to check msconfig to see if the changes made applied but no they stayed the same as they were, why is this happening?
What is the best way of re-enabling all of my services again?

Well thanks for all those comments, just kidding
Just did the easiest thing in the world, I just inserted my lexmark cd installer and the rest just followed.
See, there was an easy solution to this problem,
what did worry me was that after I tried to enable all of my services back in msconfig, it did not do it.
Well, I hope not to encounter a problem later on.
    Bye.

    FYI,
I am having the same problem again, it look that when I turn my pc off last night and then back on this morning, I don't have the ability to print, it tells me that I need to install a printer and when I hit ok it tells me operation could not be completed, I went and checked control panel and my printer is in there,
well, I am going to leave it like that until I figure out how to fix it
I don't want to install and re-install my printer cd, it'd be a pain in the ass.
If somebody knows how to fix it, let me know
    Thanks,
