Kinda reminds me of F-Zero
I'm posting the gameplay video because I think the music complements the gameplay in this one. By itself it's not a bad song, but I realized as I listened to it all I was doing was imagining the fucking awesome track that accompanied it.
Then you have this F-Zero classic.
Jet Grind/SET Radio was rocking! I am not exposed to too much J-Rock or what ever its called but this is the shizzninnapsack!

I tried to stay away from the obvious ones, because Final Fantasy is practically synonymous with great video game music, but here is pretty much my favorite songs from my favorite Final Fantasies.
Final Fantasy 6 (USA 3)
Final Fantasy 7
(Cheated a little on this one since this is the orchestral version. The original is good, but it's got nothing on this version. This is video game music at its absolute best)
Final Fantasy 9
I just haven't been able to get into Final Fantasy games after this one, and this one wasn't mind-blowingly awesome either. This one was an artistic masterpiece though, even if the story wasn't up to par.

And since I'm getting a Database error when I try to edit my last post, I'm going to add here that hell yeah, that was a great game sound track. Too bad GT3 and GT4's soundtrack sucked balls.
To me, the games themselves seemed blunted after the first 2. My love for the first 2 was epic. Though, obviously I forgot which system they were on. >.<

Agreed. I'm not a racing fan, and I couldn't play the GT games, but GT3 and 4 seemed a lot more grindy than GT2. Now that they've spent something like a decade on GT5, I can see even the devs are committed to making the game not fun. And by that I mean they are so obsessive about making cars run in a game that they are hyper-focused on realism and not making a fun game. I bet if they tried they could get both, but I think they have car boners or something.

I think it was the first game to have digitized music instead of synthesized. :music:
Ah I remember T.V. That and Hellbender were awesome games. I also remember Descent back in that day. They just don't make games that cool anymore.
