Suggest me a good compressor and and its torrent to download

I want to compress some big sized game so I can share with my online friends, Please suggest me a compressor whose compression ratio is 70-80%. I've tried WinRAR, WinZip and 7Zip.

Well I am new here, and just wishing to get known about compressor soon.

Winrar is the standard, use it. People will back 7zip because its open source but it is slow and buggy.

I've heard of RatDVD, but few people use it and I'm not even sure it'll compress a game that much to begin with.

There are many good formats out there. Unfortunately they all piss me off. I hate downloading something then figuring out what format is being used, where to find it, download it and install while avoiding nefarious sites. %98 of everything is in winrar format. Use it.

Well yesterday I had a game download of 3Gb on extracting, I found that was a game of 7Gb.
I dont know who was unloader of that, but HOW SOMEONE CAN COMPRESS THIS MUCH?

some files get compressed better than others. results will always vary. you could try something like uharc but thats a little over the top IMO. you should get a decent compression ratio with software installation files (games, etc) since they compress better anyway.
