    Started getting this error message

I started getting these two error messages when opening certain programs in Windows(System Information, Paint Shop Pro so far). Anyone have any ideas how to fix the problem?

If you use a program such as Spybot, or adaware, or Ashampoo Winoptomizer, try looking in the backup file, possibly you deleted something without looking at what it was

Its happened to me before, if that doesnt help, you could allways try reloading/repairing whatever programs give you that message, or do a google search for the .dll file

Well those files have not been deleted. They are both present on my system. Guess i'll have to reload them using SFC. I found a few backups in the Windows/Cabs folder but for one of them, they are not the same version. Oh well, to google I go.

Forget it. Next time, i'll take some time to use Google and scour the Microsoft website before wasting anyones time with a question I should be able to answer myself. I got backups of these two files from the windows cab files. I used sfc to restore both. Problem solved. Here is another, slightly different(but same end result) method.

Thanks for the assistance. I've repaired/replaced damaged files before with SFC. I don't know why I didn't think of it before. I guess my brain is fried.
