I've only messed with this on my desktop, so I don't know if the slightly altered icons on there affect this, but I had a folder I cut on my desktop, and instead of pasting it, I just dragged and dropped to it's destination. As you know, when you cut something, the icon will turn transparent to indicate it's ready to be moved, but when I moved the folder, it made the next folder alphabetically turn transparent. I then tried pasting, and it tried pasting the original folder, so nothing destructive can come of this, but I was just wondering if anyone else can get this to happen, or if it's my copy of windows that is doing it.
When I manage to get my laptop in the coming days, I'll let you know.
