I've seen Lock, Stock and 2 Smoking barrels on video, but it was with friends who talked through most of the movie and with such heavy English accents I couldn't follow along real well, so I don't remember it.

    It's been a while since I saw Love and a .45. What I remember
is it's "kinda similar" to Natural Born Killers. It's similiar enough to make you think that the guy responsible for Natural Born Killers saw it and was "inspired" by it.

Just as an FYI: Natural Born Killers was directed by Oliver Stone, based on a story by Quentin Tarantino. . . which explains why it's such a cool f**king flick.

Interestingly, both "Love and a .45" and "Natural Born Killers" came out in the same year. . . 1994. NBK was in theaters in August, Love in November. So, any influence each film may have had upon the other seems unlikely.

Those are really good movies ( not the average kind of movies ). That style of cinema started from Tarantino and Oliver Stone and it's my favorite kind. Lock, Stock and 2 Smoking barrels is one of my favorite movies of all times, made by Guy Ricci (Madonna's boyfriend ) but my favorite Gut Ricci movie is "The Snatch"! Really fucked up humor but I don't know if the americans are gonna like it because they are used of listening to americans talking and the others just make them laugh! Also watch "trainspotting".

Lock Stock is a great movie (predecessor of Snatch). Freeway is nice too, little weird maybe but nice images etc.

Fear & loathing in Las Vegas

I thought it was wonderfully played out by Johnny Depp
    and Benicio Del Toro.

To change the genre a bit . . .. who has seen :

    Brazil

    Delicatessen

    Parents

    Avalon

Welcome to Planet Earth (aka Alien Avengers)

i thought natural born killers was a crock of shit, one of the dullest films i ever watched.

ive only seen one of the films on the original post and thats LSATSB, i enjoyed that, kinda funny. Are any of the others worth watching?

I read the book "fear and loathing" years back, its a blast, im a big fan of Hunter S Thomson, although i worry about the state of his internal organs.......

Freeway (which no one has really mentioned here) is a really really good movie, and is worth a download, or even a rental at Blockbuster if you can't find it online. I recommend it to everyone.
