A friend of mine just saw this movie tonight and he said it was good although he thought the movie was shot strangely. I don't know what he means and I told him not to tel me either. I looked on my favorite internet site and there it was ready for download! WEEEEEEE! I guess its that time of year again huh? The Academy Award screeners should be leaking soon I suppose.

Does the release you saw have the subtitles for the aliens' language? The one I saw did not. If you can't read the aliens' language, you miss half the dialog and therefore half the plot.

I saw it in theatres and was totally worth it. It is a great movie, and I would wait til' the highest quality source is available. Anything less would be doing the movie an injustice.

Yes, the {noir} release has the English subs hard coded and its an R5 release, not a cam. Its been out for a long time now.

The DVD is of high quality. I did not like it much on my HD TV but I watched it on my big screen regular TV and it looked very good. Just like any other retail DVD these days but yes, I will be getting the HD version when I can grab that. There is not a proper one out there now. Any that are out have been up-converted and that just SUCKS! Stop doing this idiots! I get mad when I download a big file and its just an up-converted DVD source! Damn kids!:smirk: :op::smirk:
