Recently I've downloaded a game, i got the files and used WinRaR to unzip them, then i've installed using the setup and keygen, then when i try to launch it I get a message saying: please insert the original disc.
PS Any help at all would be appreciated!!!!
Thanks,
Shayne
Maybe try burning it to a dvd, and inserting it when prompted to insert the original?
But that's just a guess.
Game should have come with a crack/nocd (exe). If not, you need a better source for stuff :P

Thanks much, will try
Do you know where this would be located???
Look through the files you have and see if there is an .nfo file. If there is, open it with Notepad. Instructions for installing and running the files are usually in the .nfo file.
In most cases, you would unzip/unrar the files and burn to a CD/DVD. Install from the CD/DVD that you burned, and then copy the crack file over to the installation directory on your hard drive.
I've never had a download that REQUIRED burning. d-tools does the trick every time. Likely, you will have to just browse the disk, and find a folded named after the release group. In there, you will find cracks and keys. Worst-case scenario, you will have to find them yourself. It's never been hard for me to find all that with google in those rare occasions.

see i've done those things, and it's burnt to a DVD and i launch it, it's telling me i have wrong disc.
When you say copy the crack over to instillation directory, do you me where i installed my game on the c: drive, and the whole folder, or just the keygen, or even just the code in a notepad doc.?, all help appreciated...
Thanks
Shayne
Usually, the crack is just an .EXE file named the same as the one that launches the game. You just need to replace that in whatever folder the game was installed (default almost always is c:\program files\[company name]\[game name]. Newer games sometimes need one or two other .ini or .dll files to go with it. All should have been provided.
Dangit, oh great now when i try to install it, the installer times out or stops responding!!!!!
