    Question Limewire 5.2

Just curious if anyone is excited about or still uses Limewire?

Personally, haven't used Limewire in years. Not even sure I would use it as my default Bittorrent client. Anyone tested it recently?

I don't recommend it. The network is ridden with viruses, but you don't have to take my word for it.

Though if the application is good, I suppose you could use it merely as a bittorrent client.

I can't see Limewire's BT feature being anywhere as good as an actual BT client that is dedicated just to BT, but I could be wrong. I doubt I will ever install it again, but hey...let us know how it works. After all that's what this forum used to be about.

Everytime I connect to gnutella, I feel like I'm breaking down the rotted gates of a ghost town.

I use frostwire anyhow, and very rarely since there seems to be nothing on gnutella.

I use Usenet and BT now, but Gnutella is still alive, and Bearshare is the best by far even though I'm pretty much the only one who thinks so.

I'm still using gnutella. In fact, I often use Bearshare,
LimeWire, FrostWire and Shareaza simultaneously to share the
same set of files. Traffic is still consistently strong.

I can help you with that. Blocking the spam in LimeWire and FrostWire is easy and in BearShare there's a couple
of advanced but simple searching tricks that filter out the spam by using their own technology against them.

Now if I could get bearshare lite to connect, then we would be in business
