    Thanks for your response.. Im not talking about the new iPhone itself. I have the regular 8gig G3 not the newest released G3S. But I understand the had a new Operating system for the old phone. Does this upgrade bring my old iPhone up to speed? Trying to decide if I need this download...

    3.0 firmware should allow you the same feature as its newer model.
