More Innocents Released From The George Bush Torture Dungeon

You surely don't know the name nor should you, really. But Jawad Jabbar Sadkhan Al-Sahlani was quietly given his freedom Thursday by the U.S. Government and finally allowed to exit the prison at Guantanamo Bay.

"Our client, Jawad Al-Sahlani, was released from GTMO today," Chicago lawyer Jeffrey Colman informed me late in the evening. "He should never have been there."

His client was never charged with a crime after being labeled an enemy combatant as a result of claims he'd been associated with the Taliban. He denied the charges and was not allowed to call witnesses to refute the claims. Nobody ever alleged he was with al-Qaeda or was involved in any hostilities against us or any of our allies.

That is crazy and scary. Its sad that this country and the people here ignore this embarrassing incident and hope the rest of the world doesnt notice it either.

The "Land of the Free" has more of its citizens in prison than any other country in the world. None of those evil bastard axis mother suckers imprison their people like the good ol USA does. If you are the wrong ethnic group there is a good chance you are going to do some time at some point in your life. If your neck is a deeper shade of red jail may be in your future. I don't blame Bush for this though. Its a much deeper problem than that little imp can cause.

Gotta love all of those dumb ass Republicans (and now Democrats are chanting it up too) that keep saying "the most dangerous people in the world" are in Guantanamo. This slogan is the only wedge issue the Republicans have now and they are making full and complete use of it.

I do wonder about that place. I really do not know who to believe because I simply have no way to know the truth. Having to trust the government has long since been a non option. :guilty:
