There’s mixed news for fans of Fox’s Friday night sci-fi double-header: Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles has been canceled, while Joss Whedon’s Dollhouse has been picked up for a second season, according to published reports.
Fan fervor and the impending release of McG’s Terminator Salvation movie weren’t enough to keep Sarah Connor alive, reported Entertainment Weekly. But for Dollhouse, strong DVR and streaming numbers — plus the potential for DVD sales and Fox execs’ belief in the series — spared Whedon’s show from the ax, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Doolhouse seems VERY promising. It needs work but most shows need work and tweaked on their first season. I think this one will go on to be a hit in one form or another. I like Eliza Dushku very much and I hope she can grow her talent enough to match what this show needs. She will have to bring it for the second season and I am not sure she has it to bring, talent wise. She can back that ass up though. I never watched the Sarah Show

I hope they ended it gracefully. I was wanting to watch that one, but was letting the episode count build up a bit before starting.
