    Norton/Symantec are Scamming!

Ok so I'm thick noob for running Norton but last year it was hard to find something to work on 64 bit.
Anyway here's the scam:when your 12 months is nearly up your Norton Protection Center tool try icon flashes, when clicked upon you into protection center console and you see an option to renew. This opens up a IE window where you fill in your card details to buy another 12/24 months. What actually happens (I think)is that you buy when you click on the console renew option (with last years details that they already have) AND you buy again when you fill out the details on the IE website (Symantec).
I just found out after checking my bank accout yesterday and saw both Norton AND Symantec had both taken £39.99
The call-center guy said lots of complaints from similar folks and I would get my 39.99 back (still waiting).

    BUT this just gets better....

Some guy in India has been exposed selling hundreds of credit card details from Symantec.
Please be warned if you're running Norton/Symantec on your system.

And on the brighter side of life...

I've renewed Norton via online at least 3 times with none of the above cyberterrorism symptoms.

Oh noes! It's a resource hog!! Get more resources. You got enough for the 1TB drive and cable broadband. Get some more.

Companies usually stay afloat due to doing well. Small company named Microsoft comes to mind. People bitch about it, but yet it somehow $ells.

My horse is a different color.

I've heard a few people like ponies for some odd reason.

Yeah, I run NAV myself even though it doesn't catch everything (what it didn't catch, I managed to manually swat myself... though not without a good deal of trouble)
