    winmx lost connection

I've posted before on this subject, but the problem hasn't been solved. I've searched this forum and others and I'm still at a loss. I'm using 3.31, XP, new amd, cable connection, linksys router.
Here's the problem: I can't stay connected to wpnp for more than about 12 hours. If I do stay on that long, every day at around 12:05 pm and 12:50 pm, my connection resets and i fall out of the ques I'm in. My uploads and downloads continue, but I lose my place in all ques and all qued uploads are dropped.

No tasks are scheduled. I've tried resetting the connection myself to a cable connection that should be stable. Nothing that's been suggested has worked.

    Anybody got any more ideas.

    Thanks.

Either the problem is with your environent, or, its external to you.

How do you determine which it is? hmmm . . .

First, you clear the event logs. blank.

Then you go to run > ipconfig /all

Look at the lease TIME. When does it expire? Write it down on paper.

Start your apps and see which Services are running "started"

Watch the event logs every hour.

When the connection fails, do the ipconfig /all again, was your lease renewed? Does the event logs report anything puking out? Do you have the same # of services running?

Lastly, just sit an observe it, what do your router lights indicate? If you are using a firewall like Sygate, that shows your incoming\outgoing bandwidth does it all stop?
