Hi, I am new here. I found this site because people seem to be able to help with Elbitz here when people cannot log in.
I am a member of Elbitz. My name is tiekmir there and I am a Power User. I have donated a bunch of cash and my share ratio is very high. Hell, I am still seeding around 6 torrents that I recently downloaded. Today when I tried to get into my account there I got this error message.
[1129] dbconn: mysql_pconnect: Host 'my IP address' is blocked because of many connection errors; unblock with 'mysqladmin flush-hosts'
I am very confused and kind of pissed. What is the deal? I don't understand what is going on. I am logging in from the same system and IP address that I registered from.
Can someone please help me contact Elbitz to ask them to help fix this situation? I recently donated cash and want my account to work. Please help if you can.

calm down the site is down
Too lazy to Google? No problem.

Is it? I looked up the error message and it looked like the error was with my system from the information I gathered. But if the site is just down I guess it is not.
Thank you very much for the reply. :icon_thum
Is the site still down? I still cannot get into Elbitz. Can some one please tell me?
I hope so, I'm getting the same thing... funny thing is, it happened right after I tested a different torrent client, and I was having trouble changing the default port so I thought it was because of that.
Yep,she's down. Ive been having severe withdrawal symptoms for 36+ hours.
Any other hyonosis sites I can try in the meantime? (hope that's not an illegal forum request?) Am also a newbie, with little technical knowledge, and a tendancy to panic when Elbitz or Demonoid go down
This makes me a very sad Panda..... :(
the error code is helpful for the admins of the site and actually not meant for users (of the site)dbconn: mysql_pconnect: Host 'my IP address' is blocked because of many connection errors; unblock with 'mysqladmin flush-hosts'
it pertains to an SQL error and could mean many things
my best guess is they were working on the code and generated an error or they are getting dossed (which I doubt)
on a live server it is sometimes a security risk (and an embarrassment) if your error messages are displayed to the public. From the PHP manual:
Note: You’re strongly advised to use error logging in place of error displaying on production web sites.
hi all,
I really need to read the rules before I beg.
Thank you
