kazaalite opens windows installer?

Currently running XP. Utilizing dietk for p2p filesharing. just installed a belkin 1394 firewire card and the accompanying mgi videowave4 software to transfer some dv from camcorder to hard drive and then back to vcd. problem now is that whenever i open to view a video file in kazaalite, the windows installer pops up and attempts to reinstall videowave4. i quickly cancel the install and after a few seconds it quits and my video plays. any suggestions or remedies for this will be greatly appreciated...

have u tried letting the installer run? does it work normally afterwards?

you could try changing what the video format opens with by default. jus change it to windows media player or something.
