Wii Newbie

Hi,
I am the ultimate Wii Newbie.
I have a few questions:

1. how do I bring the homebrew channel onto my Wii?
2. What does the homebrew channel actually do?
3. I understand that to use back up games that you have copied you need a modchip. I also see people are selling them. Do they normally come with instructions on how to install them?

u need the zelda twillight princess game. then u have to get the twilloight hack.search p a u tube vid on this so u no what ur doing. Hombrew is anything u want to download on wii basically
