Cool things about the 2002 Twillight Zone

I have been watching this series lately as I never saw it when it was first aired and I have found it to be actually very very good. A damn shame if tanked in the ratings but everyone LOVES "Dancing with the Stars" and all the other mindless bullshit they shovel at us theses days. But I digress.

Anyways...on to the point of the thread.

Have any of you watched this series? How about the classic old one? I watched an episode of the 2002 series this morning that will really interest fans of the old one. Its called "Its Still a Good Life" and it is a sequel to the original series episode "It's a Good Life"!!!! Bill Mumy and Cloris Leachman reprise their roles from the original episode too! Just awesome!

    Billy's real life daughter!

For those who don't remember the first episode was about a little boy who forced everyone in a small town to "think good thoughts" or he made them vanish "into the cornfield" with his mind. Sometimes with horrible results. [They also remade this classic in the Twilight Zone movie in the 80's]

In the 2003 update Bill Mumy's character, Anothony, is now all grown up and has a daughter. His daughter is secretly developing powers of her own! Its kept a secret from Anothony because she is the towns last hope to escape from his evil tyrant like powers.

You MUST watch this if youre a ZONE fan! Its mind altering! hee!

I wondered if any of you have watched this series and if there are any more updates to the old stories. Its so cool to catch up with Anthony so many years later!

Everything must be "real good" in Anthony's world...

or its off to "the cornfield"!

Bill Mumy did a great job in Babylon 5. I never bothered to see what he looks like with hair.
Here's Britney Spears' private jet... The gulf stream 3 doesn't even have a remote control for its surround sound DVD system. Still think downloading music for free isn't a big deal?

    I will ignore that!

On the 2002 Twilight Zone. After watching most of the run...fuck there were some bad shows in this series. Most had no point at all. Unlike the the first series that usually had some kind of ironic twist or a weird social commentary on modern times this series generally says nothing and has little or no meaning. After some shows my only emotion was WTF? There are a few gems hidden in there but they are RARE!
