    iPod iTouch for Xmas

    and already reading about jailbreak.

    Last time I had an iPod they were black and white and the only thing available.

    Read about jailbreak. My questions:
    1) Why jailbreak? It seems I can freely surf the net with wifi.
    2) What third party killer apps are out there?
    3) Best resources/private trackers/forums/etc?

    If you got the new 2nd generation iPod touch, it can't be jailbroken yet. It is only available for the iPhone 3g and the 1st generation iPod touch & iPhone.
