    Cinemageddon moving servers

They mentioned that they would be doing this (down for a couple hours) and then changing the sites IP. For all you people wondering why it was down, well now you know.

Edit: I did reverse IP check and all the domains on 24.102.58.xx are down. Probably a host/datacentre problem then.

They are back and their Apache server is being configured. They are still with the same host, so it seems that it was a power outage, or datacentre trouble of some sort. (all the other domains in that range was down as well) This could be the result of bad weather.

Should I still be having problems? Getting a 404, then not on this server now. Googled it instead of using my bookmark and got same result...

I can't get in either, and TV-Vault, CG's sister site, has the same problem (likely, as noted, in the same domain range). Worrisome: it's cold out; I'm practically living on these sites until May....

I know what you mean. My whole day has been ruined by it and I have been worrying over the problems like a mother with a sick child. LOL

Hey, I just got the following message:

Don't worry folks, we've not been shut down by angry B-movie distributors hungry for money; we've merely suffered a rather unpleasant hard disk failure. The new hard disk has now arrived, and we're getting the site back up as you read this.

The databases are fully intact, and we had everything else important for the site backed up, so all that's been lost is any torrent files uploaded on the 15th.

You can keep up to speed with what's happening on IRC: #cinemageddon on irc.cinemageddon.org

Oh No! I am glad to hear it will be back

Okay peeps, I just got back on the site but don't bum rush the place. Its still having quirks and such. Sometimes it loads and other times it does not. Each time it looks a bit better!

But hey, its back up and thats AWESOME!!!! Thank the lord. Is this site the best ever or what? I stopped jacking off all time since I found this site! Thanks Cinemagedon!

Yup, it's back (huzzah!) but quirky. No 50% bonus torrents available (for 5 days?), but looks generally solid otherwise. And yeah, in the private tracker/weird & rare shit world, CG rawks. Now: TV-Vault is still MIA... my Dallas season 4 download (I know, I know...) is stalled as well. Any word from the IRC-enabled? Anyways, thanks for the updates, Mr. Fawks & Mr. Smileys45. Much appreciated.

Later that same day: TV-Vault is back (if a bit quirky yet). Dallas season 4 downloading again. All is right with planet Earth, the end.
