    Problem with packed file

    I dont know what kind of zip file it is, but it wont unpack with lots of programs i tried. Maybe someone has the same problem. Its about the gta4 zip file from EoPIC. Can somebody help?

    it is password protected and not worth your time.
    Dump the file and find a more reputable source

    Zip files need to be extracted in a different way. You need to highlight all the ZIP files and then extract.

    Use winrar, its not free but comes with a 30 day trial.

    The zip wont open itself and show the packed files. Thats the problem. It says no valid archive to all the unzip programs i know. Maybe someone knows more?

    go to Start>My computer>Tools>Folder options>view> uncheck "Hide extensions for known file types"

    then browse to the file and look it's file extension (something like xxx.zip where xxx is your file name, and .zip is the extension). google the file extension to find what program it uses. fin.

    i bet it's .exe ;)

    You betting it's a EXE file, does that mean you think it's a virus. Why make it so hard to open, I'd make that a self-extract EXE file. :)
