Here's a fun demo of basic science - the soundwave.

It's a Ruben's tube and this guy plugged in some music after an explanation on how it all works. Fun stuff:

That, scaled up, would be a kick ass prop to have for a rock concert.

There was also part of me wondering if it could be adapted to a BBQ to give more control over the flames. Maybe even prevent flare ups using a computerized monitoring system.
